From the look of it, you have chosen wild beauty as a theme for your
trip and I could not think of anything better to add, unless it would be
to squeeze in a few sights as you move between airport and wilderness.
As you say, it's all good, and you can hardly fail to be disappointed,
unless maybe it rains steadily.
How do you plan to get around? There may be opportunities to see
Queenstown, Haast Pass and Arthurs Pass, all great scenic locations.
But just about anywhere in the South Island is good. The scenery leans
in the window and says hello.
