Now that the dollar is circling the drain, all the tourist
destinations are filling up with Brits, Euros and others. Are the
Brits the rudest or what? I am getting so tired of "whilsts" and
"knickers" and that freaking accent. Didn't we fight a war to seperate
us from these crumpet munchers?

Yep. It's just you.

The Brits aren't the rudest, although they may be slowly
supplanting the ones that are.

Yes, it is just him. Generalizing about a group of whatever sort is
just the height of stupidity and ignorance, which this guy amply
demonstrates. He should look in the mirror.

Don't think so. My wife and I have boht noticed, for the last ten years or so,
that Brits have become the "ugly Americans" of Europe, particularly in France.

Been there lots of times and am going again in February and speak the
language as well. For the record, the French have a saying that goes:

"All generalizations are false. Including this one."

If one is to believe the UK media the hassle presented by the TSA amd the
Immigration Service is such as to deter everyone (including the brits) from
visiting the US. So, encourage them to continue their current regimes and
you'll solve your problem.
