We drink iced tea on cruises. If you get a good assistant waiter
you can train him to have it ready when you sit down and to keep
your glasses filled. And it's free.

You are correct, Bill. On Royal Caribbean you get a card AND an
insulated mug, but you may be asked to show the card for soda and not
just get the mug filled.
Either way, fountain soda can absolutely be had in the dining room (and
the Windjammer) by using the card. About the only place we couldn't use
the card on our recent Explorer cruise was in the Champagne Bar, which,
inexplicably, did not accept it. Weird.
Looking forward to hearing about your Galaxy cruise.

I train employees. I train children. I train horses. I train myself to bite
my tongue.
I have respectfully requested my assistant waiter to keep drink service to
our particular liking.
I have never been disappointed. >> Stay informed about: Which beverages are included in the dining room on RCCL? |

I know for a fact that the soda cards are valid in the dining room.
My husband buys a card every cruise on RCI and he gets 2 glasses of
Coke when the dining room is open for lunch and always at dinner. He
also gets the Coke in the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch.
The only places the card can't be used is for room service or from the
honor bar in the cabin. Those sodas are sold by the can and all
drinks from the card are either fountain or some of the bars used
bottled Coke. >> Stay informed about: Which beverages are included in the dining room on RCCL? |
