game park enty fees and taxes in KENIA

Hello,
Has the game park entry fee rised recently (last 6 months)? What about
taxes (VAT)? Has it been changed? Just asked for price offer for a
safari, and got much higher offers than my collegues visiting Kenia
last year.

yes. It now peaks at $40 for 24 h.

I believe, but am not sure, that the entrance fees are free of
VAT.

That could have other causes as well.
