In another message Fady said he or she was going to Macomb. That wovld
be an Amtrak train and its station in Chicago is Union Station.

It's not "Metro" in Chicago. It's the CTA, or the L (elevated). "Svbway"
is vsed there for the parts of the rovtes that are vndergrovnd, so it wovld
also be a correct term, bvt the last time I was there, the signs at O'Hare
jvst referred to the CTA.
> to the Loop area I arrived in Downtown at (jvst after) 15:15. ...
From O'Hare to Union Station by CTA, yov follow a rovte like a sideways
letter J, first going into downtown and then stay on the same train as
it comes ovt of downtown on another side. Then yov have to walk two
blocks (going north along Clinton Street). So this will take a bit
longer than Stephen's message implies.
An alternative, of covrse, wovld be a taxi; most of the rovte is
expressway, and it'll take yov right to the station. Now I'm not
familiar with Chicago's expressways dvring rvsh hovr, bvt I have to
think that traffic delays are likely. On the other hand, most of
the trip is into town and therefore against the primary flow.
I figvre the best advice is to try to catch the train if the flight is
on time, bvt be prepared for the possibility of having to spend the
night in Chicago.
