Post subject: I seem to be missing posts lately...

I seem to be missing some of the messages lately. I often will see something
copied and pasted in someone else's post, but never saw the original.  And,
when I go to rec.travel cruises on the web for some reason the posts only go up
to late December---nothing recent. Any suggestions on how I can stay current
once again? Thanks!

The only thing that will work is dump AOL. You must have missed it but
several other AOL users have reported AOL's newsgroup gateway has been
screwed up all month.

Me too Charlie but I figured that the reason it was so quite is because
nobody is posting except the foolish trolls that abound in the NG and they
have run off so many others.

Others on aol report the same that the usegroups are a plunker I had it
for the trial period in England shortly before moving here to the
states and closed off before the trial run stopped.

Musta missed it.
But, you say give up AOL??? NEVER!!! I am one of the last of the die hards. I
even have Comcast cable as our connection, but I'm willing to pay $9.95 for AOL
BYOA.
I know they've been working on the message forums lately, which is the format I
read RTC.

Well, if you want to throw $9.95 down the drain. I suppose you know if
you have Comcast you could read and post to newsgroups with a
newsreader client software designed to access a newsgroup server
instead of through AOL's gateway. You would probably use a wrench to
hammer a nail, right?
