mount olympus inspite of greece fires

hi. i am leaving for europe next week and will be in greece from the 21st to
29th. was wondering if anyone knew first hand or if there was any site or #
i could call that can tell me what is going on there. i am looking to climb
mount olympus and have been googling this stuff for the better part of a
month now with not much concrete facts.

i have been looking forward to this trip for a year now and would hate to
find out that climbing olympus is not possible but i understand safety
concerns. any help would be much appreciated. thanx
