I want to listen to the football game this Sunday while flying across
country. How can I do this?

It's going to be tough as most airlines ban the use of portable radios
in-flight, and even if you could use them you'd have to keep tuning as
you fly in and out each station's coverage area.

Have you booked your ticket already? If not, maybe if you can fly
JetBlue you'll be able to listen to it on their XM satellite radio
service...

If it is Newcastle Utd V Southampton, it will be on Radio 5 live and you
should be able to tune it in on your wireless.

Of course it's the Toon game, what else could it be Very Happy.
Does AM tramissions get through the clouds? I can be difficult enough to get
Radio 5 in my car, never mind in a plane!

Some AirTran airplanes have XM radio in place (they're adding it to their
entire fleet), so if you're on AirTran you may have it. Likewise, Frontier
and JetBlue have DirecTV satellite TV service (I think WestJet is adding the
same product in Canada as well). Otherwise, you'll just have to hope the
pilot gives periodic updates.
