Do I need to show my passport when leaving Turkey via land..

I want to know if I need to show my passport when I am exiting Turkey via
land (driving/bus/train/boat).

I was told that I will get a visa for 3 months when coming to Turkey. I
want to find out what would happen if I take a boat (or bus/train/etc.) to
exit Turkey. How would they know that I left before the expiration of my
visa.

I am trying to prevent any problems in future if I happen to come back to
Turkey.

The thinking has been done by the authorities to prevent *any and all*
problems pertaining embercation/disembercation already. Rest assured
