should this be 'trouble-free' travel you reckon?

girlfriend (student) Auz citizen comes to the usa on a visa waiver. we ( i'm
a Brit) go to the uk for a trip then we both return to the usa for a short
period before she goes back to Auz. is she likely to encounter problems
using a visa waiver? i'm not so concerned about the usa entry more the use
of visa waiver into & out of the uk originating from the usa, or is that
irrelevent? any other potential problems? TIA...

The US State Department will probably give you more reliable
information than you'll get on Usenet.

Visa reqts for US - In 1997, during an argument with my then boyfriend I was arrested for ABH. When this went to court, the case was dismissed due to extenuating circumstances (I was defending ,myself). Therefore I have no criminal record. I haven't even had a parking..

Visa electron in the USA? - does anyone know if I will be able to use my UK based visa electron debit card in the USA? It's purely Visa electron - no maestro/cirrus sign on it.

update on visa reqts US - Many thanks to all who responded to the original post. Just to clarify matters, I've spoken to the embassy and if you've ever been arrested by the police, for anything, no matter what the outcome of the case, you cannot travel under the Visa Waiver..
