Dear all
In April I will be traveling down under for the first time (hurrah ! ).
Although the trip is work related I managed to squeeze in an extended
weekend in Sydney. So; any recommendations for a centrally located hotel,
medium standard and price ?

Cheers
Roger, Norway

If you check out these websites you'll get a good idea of the prices
for comparison. They are both ones which are intended for bookings
within a couple of weeks, but you can also go to the long term option
on needitnow.

http://www.wotif.com.au/

There are other websites, but I've used these successfully and safely.

In Oz, CBD is an acronym for the centre - Central Business District.

Rydges Capitol Square Hotel - right in CBD of the city - about 50m from
Chinatown, the Darling Harbour mono-rail; and a 5 minute walk from Central
Station. 3.5 stars.

You'll get a good price here:
